I'm so glad to meet you!
chattanooga family photographer
I'm Annette Heck, a Chattanooga-based, GIF-loving, family photographer. I'm married to my best friend, a proud homeschooling mama to two incredible kiddos, and have two of the furriest dogs on the planet. I also run on dark chocolate... lots of it! Our boys are the reason why I became a photographer.
They were growing too fast and I wanted to remember every. little. detail.
What came next was an art form that I fell in love with and a priceless means to record my own family's story. Knowing how much I treasure the photos I have of my own wild crew is what inspired me to start a business where I could work with clients who also wanted to preserve their family's story. I juggled full-time work as a social work professor while building a dream. A dream to photograph the most amazing clients while also homeschooling our boys.
And here we are...
I use my experience as a photographer, homeschooling mama, & former child/family therapist to make your entire photoshoot process stress-free and enjoyable. From booking all the way to gallery delivery, I’ll take care of the details so that you can focus on your family. My clients tell me that they love how I put them and their children at ease all while efficiently capturing their family’s authentic connection and joy. My goal is for our session to feel like a family playdate with your kids saying, “that was fun!”. All the while, we’ll create images you will love.
The fact that clients trust me to capture their milestones floors me beyond measure. It is truly an honor because I know that these are the images that you, and your kids, and their kids will treasure. So, when I approach our session together I am not just thinking of a few snapshots for the day. No, I know that the images we capture are part of your visual legacy, your story, that will be passed down and seen for generations to come. And that, my friends, is why I am so honored to work with you to capture your story.
Thank you for being here! Let's chat.
~Annette
